| I wanted to be closer to my family in Louisville, near Denver, and I
was going to continue those studies at the University of Denver where
I had been admitted as regular student (please, see scan of document
below attesting to that). |
| A few weeks after receiving this letter, I accepted a job offer made
by LodgeNet Entertainment, Sioux Falls, SD, and decided not to finish
the Ph.D. program. I was not convinced that given our current
policy with H-1B visas it would be financially rewarding for me
to pursue towards this degree. Those visas discourage a lot of
Americans from reaching higher education. |
